Eskişehir Osmangazi University (ESOGÜ) Health Application and Research Hospital Chief Physician Prof. Dr. Haluk Hüseyin Gürsoy stated that "53,471 patients were treated in the Emergency Department in 6 months".

ESOGÜ Health Application and Research Hospital continues to bear the burden of the region. Patients from cities such as Afyonkarahisar, Kütahya, and Bilecik outside Eskişehir receive treatment in our hospital.



"We intervened in 53,471 patients in 6 months"

Evaluating the activities of the Emergency Department in the last 6 months, Chief Physician Prof. Dr. Haluk Hüseyin Gürsoy said, "Our Hospital's Emergency Department has been certified by the Ministry of Health as a level 3 service and provides uninterrupted service 24 hours a day. As can be seen from the approval of the Ministry, there are 5 or more physicians on duty in every shift. We have been carrying an important burden as a regional hospital for years. We work with experienced and knowledgeable physicians to ensure the health of our citizens. Our hospital and Emergency Department are preferred by the public. In addition to this, citizens who are seriously injured in public order incidents are brought to us for intervention and are immediately treated. In the last 6 months, we intervened in 10,811 patients in the red zone where critical patients are treated, and we reached a number of 14,281 patients in the yellow zone where moderate-level patients are treated. The number of patients treated in the green zone, where the health condition is not critical and does not pose a vital danger, was 28,379, and a total of 53,471 citizens received service from our emergency department in the last 6 months. It is our duty to serve our citizens as ESOGÜ."



"Immediate intervention for patients with red codes"

Chief Physician Prof. Dr. Gürsoy mentioned the intervention times for patients. He emphasized that patients who come to the emergency department with a red code are intervened immediately and stated that patients who come with yellow and green codes are also intervened as soon as possible.
